Hi,

I'm not sure whether this is the right place to post this question so if it's a mistake then please forgive me..

I've just bought 2 clownfish (around 1.5 inch in length) and the shopkeeper advise me to feed them using Sera Granumarin (http://www.sera.de/English/autoframe.htm?url=http://www.sera.de/english/produkte/Granumarin.htm) (kindly refer http://www.sera.de/English/autoframe.htm?url=http://www.sera.de/english/produkte/Granumarin.htm)

Now i'm just wondering, is this a right food for the clownfish since they are so small (the food is kinda big to swallow) and is there any other food that I can give for that additional vitamins & to make this fish healthy?

What i'm worrying is that I'm going to feed the fish too much or too little.. Any advise on daily food dosage for 2 clownfish around 1.5 inch in length is highly appreciated! :)

Have never used or heard of that before. 1.5 inches doesnt really seem to small either. I feed Prime Reef, enriched brine, and homemade food all supplemented with Garlic Extreme. They seem to love it. BTW. My clown in <1.5 inches

Doesn't seem to small to me either...Clowns have big mouths and can eat good sized food... They like a variety of foods... meaty and flake...frozen or freeze dried!!! I use Garlic Guard from Kent and have had good luck with it also!!!

The SG food you have is probably good, but I would add in some frozen preparatoins also. A varied diet is always healthier.

hmm.. i can see they are eating very little.. or is it their behaviour to eat small part of the food and eat it later again? coz i can see that they suck the food and spit it back again..

i'm looking for this Garlic Guard but it was no success... normally how long does it take to be deliver to Malaysia if i buy it from online? Or anyone can recommend me any good alternative?

Have you considered making your own fresh food? If you don't have all of these ingredients, just do the best you can. You can feed this to corals and fishes.

If you have only had the clowns a few days they may still be acclimating to their new home and not eating as like they will... New food for them also sometimes takes time for them to get use to it!!! :)

Remember, they are "Clown" fish, circus food is always worth a try. Cotton Candy, peanuts and an occasional corndog miight be the ticket.
