my anenome is expelling brownish goop, it kinda looks like phlem(not being gross, just descriptive), it has been moving around alot lately, and all, but it is still very much open and not all shriveled or anything. Is it ok, and is this normal?

ok, just a little concerned, I have heard horror stories about anenomes wiping out a tank, and would prefer to keep my fishy friends alive!!!

Anemones are fish predators, so don't be surprised if it whacks a fish or two.
They usually move around because to find a better place to store their foot, like a crevice. Sometimes bad water quality seems to trigger this behaviour, although I haven't seen any scientific data on this.

You will know If your anemone is dying.....he will look like slimer from ghost busters.....Usually the day after I feed my anemone he shrivels up and poo's out......Nothing to serious.....
If you get that concerned and really think he's dying, lift the rock he's on and give him a little smell.....If it knocks you over, then he's dying....And yes most will wipe out a tank under 75 gal. depending on the size of the anemone!!
