Taking a little roadtrip...what's to see?

I haven't been on much lately, been extremely busy here with work, school, kids, and the car show schedule.
Anyway I'm flying out to California next week to pick up the car and was wondering if anyone had some good sights or suggestions to see on my western 2/3 of the country that I'll be driving back through...lol
