Not to hijack, but I'm on the lookout for a non-clown clip myself. Until I find one, I am clipping my algae in the tank with my Magfloat.

i have one that looks like a clam but it doesn't open wide like the clowns do so it hard to put much in it

Someone needs to invent a better clip! One that looks natural!!! :)

Thanks for the comments.... I am really enjoying this tank!!! :)

Very nice Ron... I really like the rock work, looks nice.

I like these clips... http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=TL3911 but currently use a clown clip lol.

BTW great job!!! Love the aquascaping too. Seems like everything transfered very well.

Ron, that looks spectacular! I love the two separate rock structures. One of my favorite 'scaping styles for larger tanks. ;)

I am liking it to…. I guess I was forced to do the two rock formation aquascaping because I ran out of rock!!!! But it is growing on me and it doesn’t look like a wall of rock!!!! I was also very happy that everything seemed to make the transfer well….Haven’t lost anything yet and the fish didn’t seem to get stressed out either….I am very pleased with the whole process… Thanks for the kind words!!!!

I have a green clip :P I think I'll super glue gel a rock to it though, make it natural :P

04-29-2005, 11:51 PM
The goniporia I purchased from my local fish store and I didn't think at first it was going to make it... but I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it acclimated and how well it is doing... Its got some nice color as a special bonus!!!

I hope your chili fares better than mine did. :( Mine had nice nightime polyp extension for a few weeks, then slowly it would extend less and less each night. I probably wasn't spot feeding it enough, plus the fact that it was one of my first coral purchases over three years ago. Not smart. :(

Good luck with it - they sure are pretty!

Doctor_Reef
04-30-2005, 01:15 PM
Yes... they are.... They are suppose to be a very hardy coral but the spot feeding is important.... I will let you know how it turns out!!!!

 Thank Sergio Henrique... I have waited a long time for it and dreams sometimes do come true!!!! I was able to sell my 125 to a close friend and help him set it up... He has done a great job getting started... So I feel like I have accomplished a couple things... got this new tank and found a good home for my 125!!!
Thanks again!!!
