i just foung two little white creatures in my tank i put them on front glass and looked at them w/ magnifying glass and they are baby snails dont really have a shell yet but they are growing and its spiraling outward anybody ever seen baby snails b4 do the parents give live birth or something? i have 0 live rock in the tank so im not sure where they came from

If i'm not mistaken you mentioned you got a frag with some polyps not too long ago right? This is where they might have hitchhiked.
As far as an ID it's really hard to do w/o a picture. It could very well be nassarious or even pyramid snails or many others as a matter of fact. Sorry I can't be of much help.

stand a little further from the tank, it wont tsake the pic ceause theres no enough light getting in the lens.
btw i an invasion of the little bugs too

found this while googling
I started with 5 nassarius snails in the 65--never got around to adding more, because the engineer goby turns the sand a bit too well. Had to tear the tanks partially down 4-5 months after adding the nassarius, and discovered hundreds of them, throughout the system--some large enough to attract the attentions of the trigger.

Bigfoot, you said they ahd a spiral shape to them? You may be seing some spirorbidae worms growing on your glass.

That's a stomatella snail. They are great algae eaters and a good hitchhiker. They do tend to reproduce in the home aquarium too.

yup when my buddy gave me his CC when he wnt to the army he must have been in his tank so i hope it reproduces
