Well- I moved all the fish from the sick tank to a ten gallon- I cleaned off coral and some pvc pipe to put in there- and I bought some algea/seaweed bc my hippo tang likes it. Can ich live in the algea? Should I get rid of it? Can it live in the dead coral and shells? I need this problem to clear up. Thanks all!

They are dead white corals though- I wanted them to feel secure- I'm going to take the algea out just to be safe- I think the corals and shells are ok- it gives them places to hide...anyone else think its bad?

Hospital tanks are typically bare bottomed with just the PVC pipes for the fish to hide in. Any LR, shells, dead corals will harbor parasites.

I always try to keep my hospital tank as empty as possible... BB, PVC, and that is about it... It is easier to maintain it and keep it clean... JMO....:)
