Mushroom help

I have a large mushroom, I belive its a leather mushroom, its a thick stawk and the mushrrom is about 3 or 4 inches round, its on a rock with a few smaller ones
My question is this I just got it a few days ago, it was fine ,even opened up with the tenicles coming out ,has it opened now for a few days, was told ny the guy at the lfs that they wont always open up nut I did notice now it looks like the mushroom has a split in it, is that normal?
in fact one of the smaller ones look like theres a small hole started in it, not deep ,im more concerned with the large one that has a split in it

Sounds like major stress. I would get some water from the incoming tide (check schedules) and get some ocean "fortified" water in there. Hope it works out. karen

I know I am stressed when I move to a new house, no matter how nice it is, and I have 4 post grads in psych ;-).
