See my response to your other post. I think it's HLLE.

Def. lateral line. You see how the disease spreads through the ...duh, fish's lateral line? Try feding your fish vitamin (Selcon) enriched food and try to reduce any amount of strees it might be subject to.

Also check for stray electrical currents.

i read the post, good information but it does say to medicate if needed, also states there are safe meds for tanks with corals ,not sure I trust that

I should have rewrote it differently. With any medication there are chances that some corals will be more sensitive then others. So it would be best to treat in qt if possible.

Im just afraid to put anything in my tank that might hurt my corals, im new to the coral world but my corals are doing so good i'm afraid to take a chance with anything, my fish does have the lateral lines but I can not catch him in order to take him out ,ive tried many times ,I swear he can see the net from across the room ,i'm thinking I can catch him by hand
When I put my hand in tank he comes right up to my, rubs up against my hand ,looks in my hand for food but the minute a net comes into play he's gone
I thinks its getting worse because now im starting to see the white line form along his body ,again very active, eats like a pig, I keep loading him up with vitamins

Any chance you can catch him when the lights are off.

No he is smart, have had him a while, he knows the net well I guess ,if I take out the net ,he's gone bebore I even get close to getting in the tank
Its funny though I can put my hand in there and he comes right to it

Starve him/her for a day or so and then maybe you can use a clear trap with favorite food in it.
I'll look for your other post but what are you feeding him?? Nutation will go a LONG way with a tang. Get some Selcon, it works to help HLLE.
Found your other post and the diet seems good. My PT had HLLE when I got him and within 2-months he was completely healed so he is not doomed. Is it getting better or worse??
