Ok I'm going to start a new thread in here with my 40 gal breeder tank that will be a propagation tank for my corals. I'll set this up as a play by play of the set up of my prop tank and the equipment used and then the progression of my coral growth.
this I'm hoping will help others that want to start propagating corals and get advice from others that have done propagating of there own.
plus you will be able to see the growth of my corals for future sales or trades. hopefully we can get more people involved in the field of propagating there own stock.
Jim

This is the first picture of my prop tanks set up.as you can see I painted the bottom of my tank with high temp white paint. for the main tank will be a bare bone bottom tank.all my filtration will be in my sump No rock in the main tank. just egg crate. to start out to see how it works my lift pump I will be using a Mag 7. a CPR 25" HOB refugium. that will be on the back of my sump. and a berlin 25-250 that will sit on the outside of the in-let side of my sump. and I'm going to use a Mag 7 on the skimmer.
more info on equipment as time goes on.

Ice, thanks I can not wait to follow along with you and your progression. Just take your time and don't let those of us who will ping on you for progress updates sway you.
I can't wait until our house is built so I can start a prop system.

I just posted in my other thread about the progression on my pendent. and wiring, I'm trying to get this done as fast as I can, and work has been slow because of the weather we've been having. and my "help the Durso propagation Tank Foundation" isn't going well.
