Im guessing not but is there any way to do this, mine has got massive in the last month and Im gonna have to do some serious rock moving to get it away from other corals. I am trying to avoid as I am really pleased with the way the tank is looking and want the other corals to start spreading! If not I think ill have to try get the lfs to trade it for something else! Its a really nice coral and this has to be my last resort!!

Ed, is it a branching hammer? If it is it's very easy to frag. Simply cut down near the base where the branching starts. I use a dremel tool to do the cutting on hard skeletons.

No its not a branching one. If you read my other post in 911 you will see I have had a disatster with it now and brown mat alge, an unfortunatly there is not much of it left I think I am going to lose it. :(

You can try the techniqes described here to try and save whatever is left of your hammer.
