Picture size

Hello,
I understand that I am new to this board so please no take any offense to this. Moderator if this is in the wrong forum please move.

When posting pictures (Which we all love) could there be a size requirement put on them. I know I have missed some beautiful tank and pictures because the picture was so big I had to scroll up, down, left and right.

I don't know if I am the only one this bothers if I am than sorry for taking up your time.

Please do keep posting pictures just preview your posts to check size.

Very good point Richard. Some boards put a size limit on the uploaded pictures.

Zack, will this be an option you can incorporate into the new forum?

500 Pixels x 500 Pixels is a good size IMO. Loads fast and still big enough to see.

Try and keep the file size around 50k and it should be fine.

600x600 is about the max size that can be posted and not have to scroll back and forth to see it from the dozens of pics I have posted although occasionally I get one a tad larger if I am in a horrendous rush to post and not paying attention to detail. I have already brought this up to "Zack and company" and FITD has already posted a article on posting pics recommending the same demesions I suggested if my memory serves me correctly...(I am getting older.... :shock:)

But its a very good point that you bring up though, and has some merit for sure. I personally would like to see this and I am not sure if there are any restrictions on the new format that we will soon be using. But too I hope that its not as restrictive as it is on Reef Frontiers, as I hate posting pics there! (Zack...Hint Hint, things I hope you wont do on the new format....) Hopefully this thread you posted will get some major viewing time in the next few days as I too hate haveing to scroll back and forth to see the pic and figure out what it is I am supose to be seeing, not to mention reading a post strung out from here to the mississippi! It does get some what annoying despite the fact that as you mentioned...we all like eye candy!
