Did anyone purchase the Nano Cube DX w/the 48W lighting? How good is it? What corals did you put in it?

I have mine running now w/just fresh water. Waiting for the LR and sand. I was going to add clams, Acropora, anchor, short tenticle plate, zoos, zhrooms, and a leather toadstool. I figure that it is 4 watts per gallon, that should work...right? Thanks for your inputs.

well I have never used one but half the stuff there you have mentioned,I would not think would do very well in there, I"m running 10 watts per gal of VHO's in my 37 and most clams, plate corals and acro, I would be pushing it, myself I think even a hippopus clam would be push it at 4 watts per gallon. I had a maxima for awhile it did good but I kept it about 3" from the surface of the water. and I had a a peach colored monti, that did good but the colors just did'nt come out like they should of under my lights.
but then again this is just my 2 cents.

I agree with Jim. You'll have to do an lighting upgrade to make the acros and clams happy. I think a lot of people do this.
