hi everbody,

I would like to have one mimic tang, but the guy from the store told me this fish is like hippo tang get ich ease.

does anyone know this fish ?

Well they are prone to bacterial and parasitic outbreaks, but if you obtain a healthy specimen that is eating prepared foods, quarantine him properly b4 adding him to your tank, make sure there's no sign of ich or any other ailment in your tank, you should be fine. Also make sure that the other inhabitants in the tank are compatible with the new fish b4 buying it. For example no other similar tangs that might consider him a treath.

It can be done but patience and knowledge are the foundation of good aquarium husbadry.

All Tangs are very prone to develop ich as they are easily stressed fish. With easy handling, good QT for a week or so at least, a proper diet, compatiable tank mates, 75 plus gallon tank and only one yellow saucer shaped fish, you should be okay I think.....

yes, I think I'm going to try this fish, My tank is 75 gal and I have 1 yellow tang, 1 clown fish, 1 tiger trigger small 1 koran angel and 1 rainbow wrasses,
