Well I have waited a month and a half. My fish has been in there one week and is doing fine. I plan to add a cleaner shrimp on monday. My ph is at 8.2, nitrate/nitrite both 0 amonia 0.2 I assumme because of the new fish addition. Anyway I was wondering if I could add a mushroom coral in about two weeks. I want to make sure my fish does ok and my amonia levels go back to zero. Also I have a calc test soming in the mail so I can start tracking it. I just need to know if my tank is ready or is there something I overlooked.

I'm pretty sure the lighting is 2x24w 50/50. I've seen some amazing setups at various stores under them.

You should be able to keep quite a variety of corals under that light. As far as sps goes, montipora digitata will do really well.

Yes that's the main reason for getting this type of tank was the excellent compact lighting. And the size seeing as how I am living in an apartment right now. Will the monipora get to big for the 12 gal?
