Here's some of my 40. Couldn't get a good picture of most of the fish....one kept hogging the camera.

Do you see all those baby capnella branches covering the bottom? What do I DO with them!?

Trade them to your LFS for other corals or credit...most will do that...

Beautiful! I just love tanks that are full of life like that!
Sell those capnella babies on eBay. I bet you'd get more than the LFS would give you. Or offer them up here! I bet you'd have a few takers.

I don't think they'd even be worth the shipping cost. I'll let em grow a bit and see what happens. It's like a little pink forest on the bottom of my tank, though.

Might as well become a dealer to support your habit!

hey nice tank!! (i think i have the same one - maple trimmed 40 gal oceanic stretch hex). kind of freaky though cause ive got mine turned around so the oceanic sticker is in the back (cause i scratched up the front) and i have an arch in the middle of the live rock. yours might be nicer though. id love to know what you did for lighting. im not sure if i should try to build a canopy for it or what.

The top is just open, and I have a 250w MH 14k pendant that hangs from my ceiling. I'm not crafty enough to build a canopy.

How long has that tank been set up?

looking good nice set up, you could tooth pick some of those droppings to some small rocks and let them foot on or if some or stuck to the rubble glue them on a bigger rock and as they grow will foot on to the rock you have them on, and sell your frags.
what type of 14k you running?

I honestly don't remember what brand the pendant is....I got screwed on eBay on a Jalli pendant that is in my closet (I think it's the ballast), so had to buy this one on a whim. VERY basic, with an internal ballast.
This particular tank has been set up since the beginning of the year, but it's contents have been up and running for 4. Those itty bitty corals are stuck in the crushed coral, and I am just gonna leave em that way, let em grow and trade em in, and give them to friends.
