Very cool. If you don't mind me asking Icereefer, what is the general cost to set up a small nano like that. Just as far as the tank, lights and filter are concerned. What kind of filter do you use on something on like that?

well the tank stand and every thing but some of the LR was given to me ,but I can give you a some what run down on it.
my lighting is a Smartlite retrofit 32 watt kit.there around 55 bucks. I'm running a seaclone skimmer with a 1200 maxi-jet upgrade on it ,,I don't want to here about the skimmer, it was free and it is doing a pretty good job, there a round 100 bucks. I'm using a Minipower filter and a foam block insert.around 12 bucks. maxi-jet 600 powerhead. and about 20 to 25 lbs of LR. around 125 bucks worth.and about a 3" sand base. around 30 bucks worth there too. tank and stand I suppose you could pick up for a round 50 to 60 bucks, there's around 400 in this tank not counting the corals and fish I added.

that's not a coral it's a red macro I think it's Halymenia.

What is a red macro? I have never heard of one before. . . it looks very awesome though.here you go this will show you a little about macro's. macro's are good algaes that people have in there tanks or refugium for display and to help pull phosphates and other nutrient exports from the waters in your tank

Thanks for the thread . . . I really like that red one. So you can just place that in your tank? Do your fish eat it?

Looks great iceereefer. Those clowns will do daily excavation at the entrance to the cave to keep it just how they like it. I tried for about a week to put the sand back from where my clarkii used to excavate, but it would go right back and dig out another trench. Needless to say, I gave up and just dealt with the sandstorm.

nice looking gsp btw!
