here are some pics of my 10 gal nano.
these were taken about 5 minutes before lights out so most of the stuff isnt opened all the way, ill have some better pics 2morrow
also the actinics are the only lights on
the first one is an un identified coral (it looks like aipstatia, but its not because it has a encrusting tissue on the bottom)

also, does anyone know if i can get a free photoshop program? all the ones ive found you have to buy a disk. i need to edit the light thing on that pic. its too bright.
i need a new camera too, with macro pic abilities. anyone know of some good cameras, with good prices?

Looks good....now aren't you glad you didn't tear the tank down? :D

lol yes thank you for the confidence to hlep me not tear that tank down :D
the camera i have is not a real good digital camera. its a sony video camera and a small side feature is a digital camera. i have no clue about the megapixals, but i cannot take any macros zoomed in more than this, or it wont focus. even with the tripod..
heres the closest i can possibly zoom in with this camera

Sony cameras usually have good optics, which make up for lower megapixel...
Try different photo techniques...when taking macros, try to hold the camera at an angle to the tank glass, this prevents it from focusing on the glass itself. Make sure the glass is clean, and take them in a dark room, with the only light being that from the tank. Also no flash....

the camera doesnt have a flash thing lol
just a flashlight on the end of it
ive tried that but whenever i put the camrea on the glass it scares the fish away :(

We have a JVC camcorder that also has a digital camera. I believe it's only 2 megapixels which always gave me grainy pictures. You should be able to turn the l;ight off on the camcorder. Ours had a switch to do that. Lots of buttons on those darn things, so it could be anywhere.
The tank looks really good - love the blenny!

lol thanks for the comments :D i know how to turn off the light on the camera, and i do. none of those pics ahve the light on in them. itgs the tank light that makes them so bright.
