What is it?

Off one large pice of live rock on the underside I have a white translucent( cocoon or a beehive) looking thing growing. About 2" now it apears to have a small hole in the bottom of it its kind of cool dosent seem to bother anything. If you look close it seems to be yellow inside. I would like to know what it is. :o

Hard to tell without a picture, but it sounds like it may be a sponge or tunicate.

Thanks I went on the web to check it out and yes its a baby tunicate. (what a proud father)
