View Full Version : aquascaping
I must've arranged my rocks in a bazillion different ways!
Have any of you guys spent like hours and hours at a time just trying to get that perfect, natural-like setup? It's freakin driving me bonkers!
Can you guys post up pics of your tanks so I can see the fruits of your creative genius?
I want to get my rock just the way I like it so I don't have to touch it once I start adding more fish and coral.
Right now all I have is a damsel which gets freaked out everytime my gloved hand goes in the tank... poor guy. haha!
p.s. i've been looking at the gallery... i'm so jealous!

Last time I moved the tank, I moved it with the DSB intact....so when it got time to replace the LR, I was working in some pretty murky water, hard to see exact placement...I was doing it pretty much by "feel"...when the water cleared up, I was pleasently surprised at how the aquascape turned out, I've left it pretty much the same. In addition to looking good, it's the most stable stacking I've had, as I was not trying to prop up rocks at funny angles, I was just putting them where they fit....
here are the photos...

that means the total of all the pictures you have attached has surpassed the maximum allowable size....
Talk to Zack or Nick, they may have some suggestions on what you should do...

I know I spent a couple of days moving my rocks. Heck I still move things around when I get a new coral. Humm it never ends.

i don't really like the way mine is set up now and i spend hours thinking about how i can change it for the better
for reals... it's so tough!
and what makes it works is that my tank is more tall than wide.. kind of like a tower.
i'm about to tackle my tank again... wish me luck!
pics to come soon
p.s. sandjunkie, nice tank! i can't believe your clam grew that large!
