finally a pic. only thing in there is a bi color blenny blue tail damsel and liverock. wut do ya think

i think its a feather duster but i want to make sure its no aiptasia anemones. there are also about 2-3 tiny white ones(about the size of a pin head) in there. The black one is about half inch in diameter. thansk

hard to tell from the photo....but looks like aptasia to me......

Yeah, the pic is a bit blurry to tell, but I'd say aiptasia as well.

should i just get a peppermint shrimp to eat it now befor it spreads. also are peppermint shrimp reef safe so i can just keep him in there.

Peppermints are hit or miss as far as eating aiptasia go. Also they have been known to pick at and eat polyps from time to time. I had one that I caught ripping a yellow polyp off and chowing down on it. Your best bet is to just inject it with kalk or get some Joe's juice or Stop Aiptasia and inject it with that.

o ya and by the way that stripe background is not part of the tank its my wallpaper. I saw in the pic it looked like i put that as a background.

o ok thanks for the compliment. i would get like a dark blue or black background but ill just wait for the coralline to cover it. its not as big a distraction in person.
I agree with Mike,, lemon juice injections work great ... I tried it and pooof they are gone in seconds, but only the big ones i cant seem to inject the little ones so i wait them out the poof
