Anyone here from the Delaware area? Or a state close enough for a few hours drive from there? I'm going there in about three weeks for vacation, just wondering if there's any funny things to do, other than going to the Mall in Washington DC. Any suggestions? TIA

If your going to DC defintley visit Arlington Nat'l Cemetery. It is really something everyone should visit if they get a chance. I've been there a few times for funerals and just touring, when I go to Washington now it's about the only place is still look forward to going to.

As far other things to do, you coulds days or weeks in DC seeing everything there is to see. And I guess it all depends on what you like to do. There are alot of Civil war battlefields relativley close.

Deleware has lots of really good white water rafting and canoeing which is always fun.

And depending on how much you want to or able to travel from Delaware your close to alot more. Gettysburg, Philidelphia, even NY is not that bad a trip.
