If a person wanted to attempt to breed and raise reef critters, does anyone have any information about setting up a "reef nursery", specifically for inverts and/or fish? Something I'd like to do in the future...every little bit helps!

Tony,
Such as breeding crabs, and snails? Most crabs and snails are wild caught, except for Nerith and others...its hard for a lot of them to breed in captivity....but some do.
What kind of nursery are you referring to? Basically it would be the same as setting up a greenhouse for aquaculture use...although you'd have schools of fish, instead of corals, or both ;-)
I'm going to document the process of turning my greenhouse into a aquaculture facility. I'm also building a new building on a piece of property with my father, that I'll incorporate a portion into another facility. I'll probably have somewhere near half the building, and over 500 sq. feet of tank room.

Wow, that sounds like an excellent undertaking! That's exactly what I would aspire to someday.
I'd like to breed and raise some sort of saltwater fish or invert...seems like lots of people are raising corals.
BTW Jared, my family and I visited your fair city this year over spring break...pretty cool.

We had a great lead on a condo down there that we couldn't pass up...if we end up going back, I'll give ya a shout! Unfortunately, I hadn't found coralforum at that time :( .
