What kind of cameras do you all have? I would post pic of my tank but I don't want the embarrassment of having nothing. Never the less I own a Fuji-film 3800 finepix.

I just got my first digital camera...I got a Olympus D-540 and I really like it. It takes nice pictures, especially macros- the only thing is it really sucks up batteries!!

Sony Cybershot w. 3.2 mega pixles
its probably three yrs old. Close ups on the tank are not always the best quality. Trying to get a really good pic of my anemone takes a couple trys. Could be 40% camera issue, 60% lack of photography skills but the camera does a nice job. I am sure a newer camera would do a better job

I have a sony Cyber-Shot 5.0 mega picels. 3x optical zoom, f=8-24mm 1:2.8-5.6 Its nothing good for fish, but my dad bought it just so we could have a better digital camera, and i like it, it does decent on fish pictures.

I have a Kokak Easyshare CX4300 3.2 MP. It's marginal at best, but it came with software and cables for about $150. I wasn't sure I really wanted a digicam, so it was the way to go for me. I've had it a couple years and it works fine for family or vacation pics. It just doesn't have a lot of settings to alter for aquarium shots, so they're only okay.

yeah photographing fish is tough for every 10 pics i take maybe one is worth keeping, also i think with the auto focus the camera tries to focus on the glass instead of the subject, and on my camera even with the flash set on low everything looks washed out, i'm going to get my old manual 35mm out and play with it and see if i can get some decent pics

For those of you looking to pick one up research here www.dpreview.com one of the better camera sights out there. Keeps me well in formed. And as far as I know any good or better than average Digital sucks through the batteries. I get one good days worth plus upload time before mine have to be replaced. One reason I picked up my cam, which is going on two years old now, is the wide angle and tele lens options just havn't had the extra dough to pick one of them up yet. I don't use a flash when I take my pics.. never have any luck.
