just ordered some ricordea

can't wait I did my first ricordea order buy mail. hope they come in ok. I ordered 10, some pinks, blue, and orange ones. and am looking forward to getting them. right now Im getting some of my stock ready to sell to the LFS, and were ever.
I think I did pretty good, Im getting 10 shipped to me for $120.00 from a guy in florida. should be here thursday I hope.

good deal....is shipping expensive for you to order livestock....it's real expensive to get live ship to Wyoming....

when I got my box from Florida the postage stamp on it said $13.76, that was express USPS.
what annoyed me was I payed 35 flat fee for shipping and handleing and it only cost $13.76 to ship it .
but I got over it I just love my ricordea's :lol:

that's not bad at all....the cheapest live delivery rate I've seen from most places to Wyoming was like $26....that's one reason I usually buy locally....

Was this from an online vendor or from a regular reef enthusiast? I've been searching for true purple rics for over a year now with no success. I've seen them out there but by the time I find them, someone else has already purchased them. Why oh why can't they just remove them from the site once they're sold so I don't have to go through the agony of seeing them with that big bold SOLD marker across them? why...sniff sniff!

this was a guy from the University of Frorida. as for true purple Ricordea's I don't think florida has any like that, that sounds like it would be a caribbean Ricordea. And then again what you've seen for purples could just be from there lighting too, Because I've got a lot of different discription photo's on Ricordea's from all over the place and I've never seen that color before,,,if so. "Cool tell me more tell me more".
though I did meet a guy from canada that's swears, he's got all these exotic colored Ricordea's, And I've seen some of them and I know a few people I've got to know that has bout from him just recently. and they've been keeping in touch with Me to find out if there is a way maybe he's dying them? because he had some awesome purple colored ones and others that the colors were just to crazy looking to me.
plus the other problem was customs, trying to get them shipped here to the USA . but one more thing to some of his stuff was really spendy per polyps. but for some of his stock he had if these were true colored yuma's?
one of the guys I meet lives only 120 away from me and said if I ordered from him I could ship them to him, and when he came over to ND to shop at are stores here he'd bring them by.
but I'm not going to hold my breath I haven't heard from him in over a month now.
