Well...thanks to you guys and after much deliberation I decided to buy my first coral yesterday!!! Is a nice looking Green Polyp, it looks very healthy and only 15 mins. after I introduced it to my main display 10 gal. it was fully open, just 2 polyps remained closed as of this morning.

Heck, I even did my first frag while i was at it!!!! It had a piece that was kind of loose so I cut it off and to my surprise it opened too in no time.

I was told it's a filter feeder. Is this true? Or should I supplement it with anything else? I'll keep you posted on the progress it makes.

Maybe I am off base here, but I dont feed my anything per se`. I tossed it in, feed my fish and it seems to get enough food natrually from my system. I have prompagated several of these (about the size of a CD-ROM) and sold them to the LFS to finance my habit for 30.00 each! The stock I keep on hand continues to grow very fast, good polyp extension and color. Once every

like imaexpat2 said, but when I get fresh shrimp I'll cut off the heads and turn off my power heads and sweeze the heads of the shrimp over my polyps, and I noticed since doing that, that an old time reefer showed me my zoa's have a brighter color and seem to spread faster. and I usally do that once or twice every 2 weeks. if you notice zoa's have a mouth like a anemone and seem to like that fatty acid.
