would it be somehow posible to keep a tomato clown, royal gramma, rose anenome, and a yellow clown goby in a 10g nano? ill be running a refugium and biowheel filteration. i have around 15 LBs of LR and a powerhead. (i already have the tomato clown and gramma)

I would think it would be ok for all the others except the tomato clown, they get about 5" full grown. The TC should be kept in a 25 or bigger. As for the others just keep an eye on the water levels. A 10 gal tank is hard to maintain, the smaller the tank the less room you have for mistakes. It can be done, but its difficult even for the more experienced people. Is this your first tank?

yes, this is my first reef tank, but before i decided to start this tank, i did 2 years worth of research (i started researching when i was 9 years old). now my nano is 2 years old, perfectly healthy, and thriving with life. i got the tomato clown when the tank was 2 weeks old and he hasnt grown at all. i think they only grow to be 5 inches long if you put them in a right size tank. i read that fish grow according to their tank size. the only thing im really concerned about is the anenome. will the rose anenome live under a 96 watt powerquad? will it get too big? will my clown host it?
Thanks, ~Matt~

I dont think that anenome's can live under PC's at all- I belive that they must be under MH.....

i dont believe that. i had an anenome for 1 year and 9 months that split once under a 32 watt PC in my 10g nano. they only reason it died was cause a mantis sliced it up.

From everything I have read- anenome's should only be kept if you have MH- but I have never had one so I cant speak from experience.

some anenomes do fine under pc and some can only live under MH so that gets us no where. I have no idea about the rose anenome but i would think that a good pc with plenty of blue light and suplimental feeding would live. and as far as hosting the TC it depends on the fish and anenome. sometimes a clown will pair up with soft coral instead of an anenome some times it just wont pair up at all. I'd give it a try and if it doesnt pair up try selling it and finding a new one.

i think the anenome should be fine. its a 80 watt PC with moonlight (40 watt actinit and 40 watt white flourecent)
the clown hosted my old anenome and the only soft corals i have are mushrooms and a finger leather and the clown cant host that. ill take my chances with the rose and like you said, if it doesnt host, ill sell it and try finding a new one.
Thanks for all you guys help!!
