I'm rather new but something I learned was that if it say Freshwater better to not use it.
If your looking to drop the Ammonia better to do a water change I think.

Are you posting as just an inquiry or is your ammonia actually high? Because it would be useful to know what the levels in your tank are right now. But as far asusing this product I would have to reccomend tosteer away from freshwater only products in your tank.
Think about this, why would the manufacturer put that on the label if they could make money selling it for SW use too?

thanks for the tip,
My ammonia is not high, but also is not 0,0. Yes I think I'll make a good water change

if it says for freshwater only, then its for freshwater only. why else would they bother putting on that label? also i bet a water change would be more affective anyway.

if you are having ammonia probs, some carbon will help too.

theyre right. best keep the freshwater things to fresh water. water changes would be better. few gallons every day for a few days. and i think i read on the ammonia remover thing that it doesnt remove it. it just makes it less harmful and if tested it will still be in the water just not as toxic. either way youll have to do water changes to get it out so i think its a waste of money.
