An oscar and my tank with new light and more rock.

The bottom picture is one of my Oscars (there is two of them in a 125G freshwater tank) and the top picture one is my 50G salt water tank with a new light and about 10 more pounds of rock. I am waiting for another 20 lbs to cure.

nice...oscars were some of my favorite freshwater fish...very cool fish...

how do you keep them from digging up the plants? Mine were always rough on the plants....

mine dont dig my plants up. ill tell you though. i had 6 oscars total. 2 from walmart ( my first 2) and 4 from butler's pets (a lfs) and man the ones from the lfs grew twice as fast. lol.

Those plants are a background on the tank.... This is the only freshwater tank I have that is not planted.......

Thanks all, Oscars have so much personalaty. I made the mistake of feeding them when they tried to knock the glass hood open now every time they can see me (and sometimes when I am gone) they start ramming the lid hoping for food. I have had to pick it (and them) up off the floor more than once. I just hope they don't break it. I have tried phone books on top but they just ram the lid till the book falls off and then knock the lid open. I think they figured out every time I feed them the lid is open, mabie they figure if the lid is open they will get food.

What is this photo thing you keep going on about Condiman? Is this something I am supposed to do? Let me know who to e-mail them too and I will submit pics of all my tanks, although only one is salt.
