my salinity is between 1.023 and1.024. I know that it is supposed to be between 1.021and1.024. when does it get too high? because the ocean is around 1.030 i think

1.035 I do believe is ocean.
1.023 is actually ideal.
I've had my tank's salinity to 1.027 before.
The problem with going that high, is making sure your going to take it back down slow, when the time comes...if not...your animals can suffer osmotic shock.

average ocean water has a salinity of 35 ppt, or an SG of 1.026 @ 75 deg F.

its all good guys. i wouldnt let it get that high anyway.
