I just got a Jebo 4x55 W pc light and this thing is bright!!! I need a warning sign "WARNING DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE TANK". I plan to get some easy to care for corals this weekend like maybe a mushroom or some polyps or as a suggestion from ice reefer strawberry corals, chironephthya, devils hand, christmas tree coral. I am not sure what any of this stuff looks like yet, but I will find out when I go to shop around. Is there anything I need to know before I "make the plunge" I have your standard test kits and my ammonia is 0 nitrites are 0 my ph is about 8.1 with nitrate about 5. Should I get a C++ kit?? How do I acclimate? Can I move a coral once it is on a rock?

My salt mix has a lot of C in it as well as a hole bunch of other elements and things and was recommended (Oceanic brand) for coral tanks by the lfs but they said it would be better to use real ocean water for $1.25 a gallon......

The light is 50/50 with acetic and 10,000k

Thanks,
Whiskey

One more thing, is there any other corals or mushrooms that I should look into. I don't want to spend too much and will only be getting one or two but I want something that is easy to care for and tolerant of changing water conditions as I am a noob.....

Thanks,
Whiskey

red bullseye are cheap and hardy. my lfs sells a 4 inch peice of live rock with about 20 1 - 3 inch diameter shrooms on it. zoanthids are pretty hardy and look nice. shrooms and zoas are my first too corals.. except for my xenia.. didnt have luck with that one.
