Ok this is the third time I have found this long squiggly tube in my tank. it looks like a long worm that just sits there but it zig zags back and forth. I found two before on rocks but now there is one on the glass. I have looked to see if there was a worm or something like eggs in it but nothing. It goes away after a while just kind of decomposes. Does anyone know where it comes from? Thanks Sorry I don't have pics.

Snail eggs maybe? Or eggs if its a 'trail'.
If its a small white tubes all over..it could be calcium coming out of solution because you've raised the levels too quick.

What color is it? Does it seem to be made of sand particles? There are some worms that live in the substrate that make tunnels from mucous and sand particles.

It is white in color and it is continuos unlike snail eggs. just looks like a bunch of s' connected together and curving around. About 4in long.

Could be sand worms, or if you add calcium too fast, it won't stay in solution, and will form calcarous squiggles.

These are Cerith Snail Eggs.
This looks a lot like it but mine are way longer than this. And if these are snail eggs than I have some very reproductive nerith snails!

They are snail eggs then, if they are like that.
