I do not have a Salt Water tank yet but I am in the process gathering all the necessary parts to build one.Is there a certain type of PVC cement that I should use when I am installing my plumbing? I was concerned with chemicals leaching from the glue into the tank water and I would like to make a refugium out of an plain acrylic tank and so i need to put some divider plates in there to make it work they way i would like it. Is the Acrylic cement from this site http://www.northcoastmarines.com/acrylic_const.htm strong does it actually fuse the 2 sections of acrylic together? thanks in advance Shane

Shane plain old PVC glue will work fine for glueing pipes together, all the hots will off gas as the glue dries. On the acrylic you want to use a product called Weld-on 4. What it does is it melts the two edges of the acrylic together. Makes for a very strong bond.
