does skimmer and carbon take out elements?

I had my tank for 4 months... i add calcium, iodine, stontiun and molybdenum. i would like to know if these things get taken out by either my skimmer or canister filter with carbon?

yep they will bit, but nothing really to write home about.

Are you testing the levels of all the stuff you are dosing?

Calcium suppliment is a must...but the others will be taken care of with a good water change schedule....

Yes, it is found in most all Salt Mixes. That is why I do a weekly water change of 2 gallons. It is better for my aquarium and saves me alot of money on purchasing usless additives.
