This is my newly setup 50G (transfer from a 30G). I am making some more live rock using the diy method and I am curing some pre made stuff as well. Lighting comes in a couple of weeks from now. 220W 4*55W 10,000K and acentic.

nice pics. im sure your fish like the extra fin room.:) just a quick q, are you keeping that lightiong? if you are, you might wanna sput one actinic bulb in each side, one white in each side, kinda to even out the blue-white clash

I only have one 20W acentic bulb but the new fixture will be comming in soon. The white is a 4 foot long over the whole top of the tank. The light in on for 10 hours off 14 on a timer. I want to put a whole bunch of live rock in it and put corals and mushrooms on that, but not until I get my new light.

I wish I had though of a background on my tank before i put it in the corner and filled with water. Its a little late for that, live and learn i guess

Wow what a difference the background makes! I was thinking about adding background to my corner as well I think I can weasel it in and stick it up hummmm glad to see the difference between the two. Happy tang happy tang new bigger house :D
