Crush marble for fowlr??

Hi everybody.

I was wondering my friend told me i can use a kind play sand call playbox that it is only white premium crush marble that is silica free .is this true or it is too risk? also what is silica how does can affect a tank?

I have never heard of that, but i know many people use a sand calld southdown. Maybe someone else has used this?

thats what i've read, i saw a bag of the old castle and it was made the same place as southdown if i remember right i think it was Harrisburg, Pa.
