Right now all I have are 2 clowns and a blue legged hermit crab.
I have had this 75gal fowlr going for about 2 months. The clowns have been there for about 4 weeks. I would like to add a royal and a light blue tang.
It should be OK if I add both together and have them both about the same size, shouldn't it??? And how about food???
Thanks in advance for the advice!!!

it is better to add them both at the same time if the are to be kept together.

Yes, add them together, but a funny thing about tangs, I'd try to get different sizes...that seems to help.

Why different sizes??? I would think the bigger one might nip at the smaller one. I know I asked about a light blue and royal tang, but would substituting one for a yellow tang make any difference at all???
I appreciate the advice.

I have two tangs (Yellow, Kole ). The yellow is about twice the size of the Kole so I put him in first. The problem isnt nipping its swipping at each other with their spines. They went at it the first day, then setled down. I would just make sure they both have a seperate area to retreat to.

If there is a large difference in size, the larger one won't usually view the smaller one as a threat to its territory, at least that is what I've always been told...and my experience with them seems to indicate this is generally true.
