Hello,

Well I've had my new 75g up for a few months. Been taking things relatively slow and letting the live rock settle things real well. I'm currently running a 20L g sump/refugium, a euroreef skimmer, a small canister filter with rock for mechanical filtration, and 260 watt PC lighting. I have about 80-90 lbs of LR and 20lbs LS. A few mushrooms and assorted snails, crabs, shrimp, brittle stars are cleaning the tank, though I'm still adding to this cleaning crew.

My question is, how many fish can I keep in this tank. My LFS all give me different answers, so thought I'd ask around online. Currently there are two clarkii clowns and a sebae anemone they're hosting, a sixline wrasse and a banded goby. I'd like to add some sort of dwarf angel (Suggestions??), some sort of small tang (Suggestions) and a target mandarin. Obviously would like more over time as well, but would what I plan max out the tank, or would it be about right, or could I fit a few more small fish. Any suggestions and species I might look into would be appreciated.

thanks in advance,
Justin

Those three additions should be fine in your tank. For an angel, I'd suggest Coral beauty, Flame, or lemonpeel. Just watch them to make sure they don't start nipping at corals. Dwarf angels tend to be a bit territorial as well. IMO as far as tangs go, the Yellow tang is a great choice. Add him last however, they can be a bit territorial as well.

With the additions you mentioned on top of what you already have, I'd say that will start approching the limits of a sensible bioload in a 75 gal., IMO

10 gallons per fish is usualy good depending on the size of the fish. Angels(not dwarfs) are not reef safe. Box fish are pretty tame and can get along with pretty much anything.
