chat room

Why is it no one is ever in the chat room? Sometimes it is nice to talk in real time about things going on instead of waiting with a post. I feel like we should set up meetings or something for different subjects or allow an open sessions when it is convenient for groups of people and post when necessary in between. I dunno just a thought I have chatted with people here in the forum once since I became a member was just wondering why no one is ever in there?

I never go to chat because I don't usually get to sit at the computer for any length of time. It does no good to start a conversation only to leave!

As our membership grows, I think the chat room will gain in popularity.

I usually try to check to see if someone is in there when I log on.

Me too but like I said no one ever is! Well I hope it grows in popularity I know I spend a good hour and a half at least a day looking around to see what is going on would be nice to talk in real time on occasion to get the answers ya know. Maybe it is just me?

I do know if you go to almost the bottom of the forum index page (where it lists the members) it shows if someone is in the chat.

I don't know if I'll make it tonight, but I haven't seen anyone around on Thursdays OR Fridays in a while, so I thought I'd bump this thread for those who may not have seen it before!

I check it almost everytime I am on the board, but usually there is no one there, or I would probably spend half the day there! I have went there a good bit and waited to see if anyone would jump in, its been 50/50 so far. I think the most I have seen on the chat line at one time was about 5. Usually just me and one or two others... Its kinda odd too, is this only available to memebers or guest too...I dont recall ever seeing a guest there?

i've never been in a chatroom so i don't know how it works, to be honest i don't even know how to get in, most of the time i'm on the site i'm at work so i have to stop from time to time to actually do something for my employer but most evenings i'm free if someone wants to get something started

We had a few of us in there tonight and seemed to be quite lively. I like going in there and bs'ing with everybody.

Just click on the Chat button at the top of the screen by log in log out. Its too easy. Not even I was able to screw it up! There is a block that will tell you when you are on the main forum page if anyone is there. A lot of times I will log into it and wait and see if anyone jumps in...

Yeah tonight was one of the better nights I have seen. Good bunch in there today, some regulars and some kinda new. Wished we could pull that off on a more regular basis...Its just kinda cool BSing about what ever comes up. Sometimes is aqyarium stuff and sometimes its not, but its all good.
