I've got a 10g nano that's been set up for several months -- about 10lbs of LR, modified Skilter, etc. I have several soft corals in it that are doing well (a few mushrooms, 2 sarcophyton, 1 sinularia). The only fish is a blue-green Chromis. I had planned to move him to my 75g reef initially, but he is doing very well in the nano, and I like the looks of him there.
I'd like some suggestions for a fish to go along with him. I've thought about a little goby or firefish, but I'm afraid the Chromis might beat one of them to all the food. What do you think? Any suggestions?
thanks in advance,
Mariner

chromis are pretty peaceful. i dont think there will be any problem at all.. goby and firefish are good for nanos. i personally like the firefish myself.

I think you're right about the Chromis being peaceful. I'm not concerned as much about the Chromis picking on a firefish as I am about him gobbling up all the food before the firefish gets any.

i had a firefish in my nano. he was AWSOME. never picked on anyone else, didnt steal food or hog all of it up, didnt hide, and had GREAT colors.

(the only reason im saying had instead of has is because lil mr mantis shrimp came along and had a meeting with my firefish.... :( )

fire fish are an exellent choice for the nano tank as they stay pretty small have vibrant colours and are all round exellent fish.
