I have a 100g tank that has been up and running for a month now, all levels are good and my cycle is finished.
I now have to make the decishion of what to stock my tank with. I want to put in a volitan lionfish, a minitus grouper, some kind of puffer, a queen angelfish, and a cloun or humma humma trigger. I know this may be overstocked but this is going to be a growout tank for my 210g, I have a skimmer made for a 200gallon system on the tank, ill say what brand in a bit. I have a 20gallon sump, an eheim 2028, and a few misc Ac's for extra biological filtration. do you think if i get all these fish at 4-8 inches this will work?

Well just remember how big they get. 100g will give them lots of swimming room for a while.. I have had 3 tangs in a 120g for several years without a problem.. and they are all very happy and healthy.
comment on your queen though.. Your talking about an aggressive setup here with those fish on your list. If you introduce them all at the same time that will increase your chances of them all getting along... but it will problably push your tank over the edge Bio filtration wise. I wouldnt stock a new tank like that with more than 1 fish per week or two..
That queen angel is prone to stress so I would add her first.... Ick or other disease is going to be a concern with her as you add new fish if you introduce any parasites into your new setup as you go along...
You might want to consider rockwork to provide lots of hiding spaces for her.
Anyway.. Your selection is fine as long as you take it slow. You can overfeed a couple of days before you add each fish.. This will help your bio bloom before you add each fish..
I hope your going small size on all of these.. I wouldnt add a 5" grouper right off the bat! You will crash your tank....
Be ready for frequent water changes... I would do about 10% per week.. at least till you get the whole community setup and your bio levels catch up to the new load..
Good luck.

i dont see any problem but you might want to go and try getting all of them the same sizes. smaller fish can get harassed by the bigger more aggressive fish

but queens need a lot of LR , they need to pick at the algae, plus minimum tank size is 150 gallons. they do get to a foot and a half

I have made some adustments to my setup tell me what you think:
A large volitan 5-8inches
minitus grouper 4-5 in
spiny puffer 4in
cloun trigger, or picaso 3in
emperor angel 6in
foxface 5in
harlequin tusk 4in
snowflake ell, 8-12 in
cowfish 3in
and maby 2-3 5in max fish when tank is established
what do you all think. don't not worry about water changes I plan on doing a 25% water change once a week

that's a lot of bioload, even for a 100 gal tank....

I'd try not to exceed 25 inches of fish in that 100 gal tank. The inches per gallon rule is pretty subjective, but basically a decend guideline. Maybe pick 25 inches of your favorites from that list and go from there....

Your next set of issues will be swimming room, compatibility, aggression and territoral behavior.
Out of the list above, IMO the mix that would probably be least problamatic would be loins, triggers, eel, and maybe the tusk.
