Hey guys! Wow, this is my first time to accually post a real post here! I've been so busy with taking my kids to dance, sports, plays, and other odds and ends stuff that I haven't had a chance to get here and really post. So first, I'll start out with and introduction to my tanks and a little bit about me. I'm 42 and have kept fish for 29 years. Just within the last 5 years I've started to keep fish besides puffers. Until then, all I had was puffers! And now at the start of this year I started with Marines. At the moment I have 7 tanks- 1 Freshwater, 3 Brackish and 3 Marine. Here's the list of everything I have:

Tropical Brackish/Freshwater Puffer Tanks:
- 100 gallon tank with 7 Green Spotted Puffers and 8 BBG's
- 30 gallon with 2 Figure-8 Puffers and 3 BBG's
- 30 gallon with 2 Humpback Puffers and 3 BBG's
- 20 gallon with 6 Dwarf Puffers and 2 BBG's

Tropical Marine Tank:
- 55 gallon with
1 Blackfinned Goby
2 Percula Clownfish,
1 Yellow Tang
-55 gallon with
2 Green Spotted Puffers
-100 gallon with
1 Web Burrfish
1 Porcupine Puffers
1 Dwarf Lionfish

I recently switched one of my 55 gallons over to Marine and put 2 of the 3 Green Spotted Puffers in there. (The other one is in my 100 gallon Brackish.) Right now the tank is very empty and I was looking to change that. I want to get a Snowflake Eel to go with them and some other things. Can you tell me alittle bit more about the Snowflake Eel and maybe some suggestions ofr other possible tank mates to go with both the eel and the puffers in the 55 gallon. Thanks a lot! I look forward to meeting you all!

with a snowflake eel its good to have other agressive fish. nothing small because it will eat it. a tight fitting hood is a must because they are escape artists. ive even read a forum about someone talking about a snowflake ending up in their pvc piping. your dwarf lionfish should do fine with it. other eels should be fine with it and even triggerfish. they will eat any kind of inverts including snails, hermits, decorator shrimp, and such.

and miztahphong2 is right they are escape artists, mine I use to have liked going up my lift tube that went to my sump, please don't ask me how he kept from getting all chewed up because I don't have a clue. but he knew I kept his feeder fish in there so every once in awhile I'd see him in the sump with a big knot in his stomach  :D
Ps by the way welcome and hope to hear more about your tanks

Just in case: If you get an eel and it gets out of the tank and you find him dry and looking dead. He may not be dead yet, put him back in the tank.
