hi all, i'm a long time fw guy mostly new world cichlids, hence the user name but for quite sometime i've been fasinated by the colors and diverse life in salt tanks so i decided to try a reef tank of my own, i have a 29g tank thats almost done cycling and have been looking for some nice live rock to finish filling it up, anyway my search led me in a round about way here, after lurking here for a couple of days i thought you all seemed to be a friendly bunch so i decided to registered

what kind of cichlids do you like? In my FW days, I had a cichlid tank, both NW and an Afican tank...I bred lyretail cichlids breifly....

i guess my favorites are my oscars and my red devil but i have dempseys, severums and blue acaras and a few krebenis
