i herd that puffer fish (porkipine puffer) eat invertabrates, is this true. I am really interested in getting one. also, every other fish i really like has compatibility problems (lionfish, eel, seahorse) are all of these fish really aggresive?

the porcupine puffer does eat meatier foods but im not sure about snails and hermit crabs. maybe some of your shrimp. they are known to nip the fins of other fish. lionfish and eels ar also agressive but i dont know if theyre too compatible.

as long as the other tanks mates are larger than the lion they should be alright. Lately my eel has gone bad. I think it ate my long horn cow fish and its poisnous! :eek2:

my smallest fish would be about 3" and that won't last. I have herd of a lion being kept with other fish, it just has to be fed constintly. i guess ill have to do without them for now and mayby later get another tank
