Filteration
My filteration starts out draining from a CS150 CPR overflow box. It then goes down into my refugium at a very low flow. The rest of the water goes directly to the sump. The small amount of water that goes into the fuge drains out of the bottom of the tank into the sump. The water from the fuge enters the some through the bottom of the tank. All the water is returned to the display tank by a mag 18.
29gallon fuge. with sand, rock, micros, and some mangroves.
29gallon sump housing a mag 18 return pump, berlin air lift skimmer, and a mag 12 for the chiller.
Lights
My lights consist of (2) 400w metal halides. Right now iam running 10k XM bulbs alone. I will soon get the 20k's and run them solo.
(2) PFO pendants
(1) PFO dual 400w metal halide ballast
Live Rock
I have about 140lbs. of Florida Keys aquacultured rock mixed in with some base rock.
Live Sand
I have two layers of sand. The bottom layer consist of regular old Castle play sand that you can find at Home Depot. The top layer consist of Florida Keys Ultimate Live sand which is loaded with worms.
