My Carnivorous Yellow Tang

Ok I can't figure this guy out... I always believed tangs to be herbivores, but my guy obviously doesn't really care what he eats.

He ignores the lettuce or cabbage that I stick on the side of the tank, turns his nose up at the algea flakes and the marine green.. fair enough he chomps a little on the algae in the tank, but what he really likes in the marine angel food that I feed my black perculas - especially the shrimp!

I mean I am glad he's eating well, but is this bad for him?

When I had mine it was the same way it loved shimp but only ate a little of the greens I put in. I believe that is perfectly normal.

Mine tang also like to eat lot of shrimps and other flake food althoud it eats lettuce
