I'm going to have some algae in the fuge. Ok my questions are does this look good?? I have some stuff i need to ask about too...is it ok to feed Formula one small pellets as the staple with like dead zooplanton as a treat and for the shrooms and stuff?? is that agaraMilk stuff really good, or do i not need it?? for the light for the fuge i'm getting a Azoo Galaxy light....this should work fine...is there anything else i need to know about?? I got a master liquid test kit :x and some IO salt...with the lights on there 24watt PC 50/50 can i keep anything else without haveing to dose?? anyways tahnx!!! oh and how many inchs of sand will i want in my fuge in the back??

agaromilk....hmmm....

personally, I've never been a big fan of all-in-one "magic potions" like that...esp. with claims like "no danger of overdosing". Well, if you can't overdose it, than my guess is it probably doesn't have enough calcium, magnesium, or any of the other advertised ingredients to be of much use to your aquarium in the first place!

haha yea, well what will i need to get then?? i mean calcium shouldn't be depleated to much, but i'm gettin LR from lr.com and everyone knows that has such much algae on it that the calcium goes down really bad lol hmm, i need to test for calium and what else??

mag, ph and alk. i would use kalk or kent liquid calcium. and i would have a 1.5 inch sand bed in the tank and 3 inches in the fuge.

well, calcium and alkalinity will need to be tested....

I'd recommend kalkwasser....but be careful, keep a real close eye on your pH levels in that small of a tank while using kalk. I'd imagine it may take a little bit of trial and error to get the proper kalk mix ratio correct. Start with very small amounts of kalk vs. makeup water, and work your way up, keeping a close eye on pH, Ca, Alk, ect.

fish do not suffer much from low calcium levels. The coralline growth on your LR, as well as snails, bivalves, ect will however suffer from low calcium levels.
