Hi,
Here's our reef, we've been into the salt side of this for little over a year. We started off with a 29 gallon, then it multiplied to a 40 and a 5 gallon we then had 3 tanks in a 2 bedroom condo, way too much for me, then we merged it all into a 60 gallon. So here's what we have:
Seaclear acyrlic 60 gallon tank with an 18 gallon sump/fuge. Lighting: 2 55W PC 10K 1 white 1 actnic over the leather side, and 2 96w PC 10K 1 white 1 actnic on the right side of the tank.
2 Maxi Jet Powerheads aiming at both front corners fron the middle back of the tank. 2 drains with DIY drain pipes and two returns in the middle aiming the front of the tank.
As of now we don't have a skimmer but plan on getting one to sit outside of the sump.
Heater is a titanium that sits in the sump on the "in" side.
Inhabitants are as follows:
One large toadstool leather that is hosted by both our clowns. various zoanthids (orange, yellow and green), xenia, pipe organ, flower pot, branched Montipora green, green frogspawn, green hammer, anchor, very large pearl bubble.
Fish and others: 2 tank raised perculas, 1 brown cheek blenny, 1 scooter blenny, 1 purple firefish, 1 emerald green crab, 1 elephant snail, turbo snails, astrea snails, snails from Indo Pacific Farms don't remember their names, cerith snails.
Sand is from all 3 tanks on top of 5 inches of Argamax sand, 65 lbs of live rock
