I have a Magnum 350 canister and I am getting sick of the Carbon!!!!!!!!I end up changing it every 2 to 3 weeks!I was wondering if I could put Bio balls in it.I was wondering if I could just fill the whole thing with the media instead of just having a compartment(only if I used the bio-balls,or something that wouldnt get sucked into the impeller.SUGGESTIONS????????

Well, you will still need to clean it out every so often. The problem with a canister filter is it wil tend to trap detritus and and will cause increased amonia.

Tell us more about your tank. What size is it? Live Rock? Live Sand? What other forms of filtration do you have? What are your water parameters?
