im thinking about a clown trigger for my tank. i have a 50 gallon and thinking about getting a smaller clown trigger. right now planning on about 60 lbs of live sand and 70 lbs of live rock. the only thing is that im not sure if it will eat my hermit crabs. i want hermit crabs to be the scavengers and snails and such but im not sure if the clown trigger will eat them. also i was planning on getting another fish with the clown trigger.. any suggestions?

i want a clown trigger for my 50 gallon tank with live rock and live sand.. preferably 60 lbs of live sand and 70 lbs of live rock. will it eat the hermits i want to put in there or the snails i might put in there? also what is another compatable fish to a clown trigger that i can get?

I don't think it would "eat" the hermits.....but it may nip at or harrass them. As far as other fish, I would keep it alone in the tank, they have quite the reputation for being "killers"....generally a very agressive fish.
