Water change

how often should I change the water in my tank? It is still cycling however, once everything is set how much and how often should I be changing water? Thanks in advance for all the help.

I change my water weekly for me its better then halling a 5 gallon pail up the stairs every two weeks.

Almost everybody has a different water changing routine. Lots of people do small (5-10%) water changes every week or too, others do larger (20-25%) water changes every 4-6 weeks or so. Idealy, the smaller, more frequent water changes are probably the way to go, as changes in water chemistry are not as largely impacted, and trace elements are replaced more quickly. I do the latter (20-25% every 4 weeks or so) mainly because this is about as often as I can find time to do it....
